In light of the city-wide safety precautions and preventive measures taken by the City to contain the spread of COVID-19, we want to ensure we are doing our part to help the community. As housing is essential, and there are going to be many real estate transactions that will continue to proceed, here are some of the measures we are taking to ensure your home is safe:

– Providing hand sanitize, garbage bags, paper towel, hand soap and disinfecting cleaning supplies to all listings to allow our sellers to keep their homes clean

– Creating signage at all listings to remind buyers to wash their hands, not touch items within the home, not visit if you are sick or have left the country within 14 days

– Maintaining communication with other Realtors to uphold the standards we are setting by monitoring their clients and conducting business in a preventative method

– Conducting offer presentations and signing sessions electronically

– Offering virtual showings to buyers, along with more digital media for marketing

– Cancelling open houses to avoid non-essential visits and large groups in your home

Precautions are the best course of prevention. Our seller and their young family are striving to adhere to these measures, and we at Jenna & CO. encourage you to do the same. Here are some tips to prepare your home for showings during this time:

– Before showings commence, sanitize all door handles, light switches, hard surfaces and cabinet knobs/hardware

– After showings end for the day, do the same

– Have hand soap available and display Jenna & Co. signage encouraging preventative measures

– Tuck personal belongings like children’s toys, small appliances, etc in cupboards and closets to reduce the amount of hard surfaces that could be touched

– After sanitizing, remember to wash your hands

By taking these preventative measures, we are doing our part to protect the community and reduce the risk of transmission. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, we are here for you.
